One of the most popular types of Lap Siding is Channel Siding, which is used whenever a rustic appearance is desired. In channel siding, the profile of each board partially overlaps that of the board next to it, creating a channel that gives a shadow line effect, provides excellent weather protection and allows for dimensional movement as the weather changes. Channel siding can be installed vertically, horizontally or diagonally.

Board-and-Batten Siding
Board-and-Batten Siding is a vertical design created using wide boards spaced apart with narrow boards, battens, covering these spaces.
